It does seem like quite a challenge... Hmm maybe I'll give it a go
I did find a nice tutorial by *Crimefish who does amazing colored pencil portraits in case you're interested. [link]
Did you use any special technique for the blending?
Well have fun with your colour pencil endeavors! Cant wait to see more!

Thanks for the link, really good work, I'll see what I can pick up from there.
As for blending technique, I used a colourless blending stick. But, If I'm perfectly honest, it did'nt go as well as planned. But I'll get there, I'm quite stubborn like that.
More soon, just learning about "colour theory" before I continue with my journey.

Oooh Color Theory... Im terribly afraid of it. It just looks so complicated! Haha. I guess Im just not quite ready to take that step yet. Well I admire you for your bravery in faceing what seems like such a difficult subject to get the hang of!
Hmmm 'colorless blending stick' That is definitely something I'll have to take a look at..
Thank you for answering my many questions and good luck on your journey into the world of color!

Thank you Carl, yeah, this is about actual size.
I will do something bigger once I get a bit more confidence with the technique.
Cant really find a great deal of tutorials online for realism in CPs. So will have to just wing it when it comes to doing portraits.
