Description
Water Color of good old Charlie Brown by Charles Schultz. I know this is trite but i was trying to do something with a little more solidity as I get used to these paints.Plus, as a child, I am pretty sure that it wasn't Monet, Picasso, Dali or Van Gogh that first exposed me to art. It was Peanuts. Then Comic Books of course. But like for many, Charles Schultz was the first to introduce me to the art of drawing and cartoons. My first real discernible drawing ever was of Charlie Brown.
And now I have validated how small an art path I have traversed.
Plus is it just me or is drawing a circular head harder than painting an elephant?

Excellent work Luis!
Growing up .. anytime there was a Charlie Brown special on TV I was so there watching it!
Do they even have the Peanuts specials on TV anymore? If not, that's kinda sad to me, really.
I agree, try Snoopy next!

I think they still show them but they are hard to catch. I keep an old videotape of all them that I made as a kid. I loved the Christmas special. Very existential!
Thanks for the comments. I'm having fun with these paints.

I find Snoopy's head even harder to draw.. There's a lot more to the subtle dip between his head and nose than meets the eye..
Annnywho... I like the colors on this! Looks like he's at a park on a summer day!

Maybe I'll try to draw Snoopy next! How can I screw up white? LOL
Anyway, thanks. I agree. He's at a park. Maybe he finally won a game!
