Thank you so much! I've just started do ing watercolors. I love them, but I need help. This really helped! MY main problem is that I don't let it dry. (Actually I didn't know You had to do that for layers. ) And I'm afraid to use markers and other art styles to mix with the painting. But this was a huge help! Thanks again!

normal watercolors for children faber castell, some acrylics and winsor&newton and leningrad watercolors

I'm gonna try your technique out!
I'm sure mine will be ten times bad, because I wasn't gifted with a good painting hand, or very good art supplies. But I do have a nice paint set. So I'll see how this works! Much thanks.

This was really helpful to see the whole process and layering. I used to use watercolors a long time ago and wanted to get back but I had forgotten most things. This really helped me out, thanks

Thank you so much for sharing this! Now I know how to avoid those smudges and sometimes tearing the paper. When I use watercolors, I tend to scratch the paper because I paint on the same area too much! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!
