I actually ended up just using colored pencils to color some of my stuff instead.

I actually got a 24 color pack, so I didn't have some of the colors in this tutorial, unfortunately.

Plus, the ones I've got are too thick to do any thin lines. -_-;

well r they the colored pencil ones??? no the crayon ones??? (jkjk of course they're colored pencils)

i suggest you shape up your colored pencils like lipstick!
it's flat on the other end, and it's sharp on the other!

that will help out a lot!

and i use the 30 pack xD
and i have another 30 more...
and another 15 more for other colors xD

They were waxy crayon twistables. There were no pencil twistys.

I just used Laurentien colored pencils instead.

No art stores and no wal-mart I can go to.

I'm gonna try to find some one more time today, because I'll be doing work for all of this and next week soon. Got TWO 8 page essays to do at the same time for the same course and they have to be done by next Thursday.

no it's sand: a combination of light brown and yellow

if you have a 30 piece set, it should be there and it comes in two colors! it's better if you use the darker one not the paler one. How would you know? press it and let go. Do you see any yellow on the very edges? then that's it

then, for the second part of the skin, use red orange not crimson red
