Nice. It has a sort of "cabinet of curiosities" quality to it.

perfect composition of those little drawings. man, i so want a little nautilus bunny. but would it live in an aquarium or in a hutch? would i feed it grass or fish food? hmmm.

awwww. my bunny (a regular land hopping bunny) liked bannanas. she made a funny noise when she ate them, like a happy mumble. so. cute.

Very sweet, Joe. Wish I could have seen the look on her face when you gave it to her.
The frame came out nicely. It blends well with the overall creature theme.

They look wonderful in that frame. You did a great job framing them, and making the frame.
It compliments them very nicely.

Well, it seems like you did a good job with it.
I don't blame you, I'd have someone else do it as well. I have enough trouble stretching a canvas. I just buy one now.

thanks, scott!
but the parts that aren't rabbits are actual water creatures ( a nautilus, a seahorse and a fantail goldfish)...lots of odd variation in sea life, you bet

Invertebrates and vertebrates, land and sea, everything comes from the same ancient single source.
Looks good, I like the frame, it really brings this piece together and seperable from an illustrated children story.

and thanks a lot, i had a good time with this...though making a box frame was a challenge for me (i have all the carpentry skills of a lobotomised rhesus monkey)
