Ah~ The expression, the colour, the design, everything! I absolutely love this!
Hehe, Link must've done something bad XDD Did he maybe shoot someone in Hyrule Castle Town with his slingshot? >:] I've shot people with a slingshot, it's fun and totally worth the punishment XDD Though, I have also been SHOT with a slingshot, and the my friend, is NOT a fun thing to experience T_T
Also, I like the chair he's sitting in, mainly the emblem on the back

Thank you! I actually tested out shading in grey values on a layer before starting to color. Eventually, keeping the layer above the colored layer, on low opacity and Multiply helped keep the lighting straight. Usually, I screw up the lighting when I move from one colored area to another, but this shading layer helped keep everything straight. ^_^

Thank you! Have you seen the movie Steamboy? It has a scene of a boy sitting in a corner with a dunce hat, similar to this. And the only light in the room was candlelight so he was pretty much sitting in the dark. Poor Link!

I haven't been on much either. I missed talking to you too! You can download a demo of the program from the Corel website. Check it out. Painter is powerful, but then again so is 'Photoshop, so if you keep working with that, you'll be in great shape. Keep creating your cute and lovely characters!
