I originally posted this on the Macaroni Cartel (VT’s official Amino) because I probably was going to get (more) verbal feedback on it (quicker) BUT I would still ABSOLUTELY LOVE to hear your thoughts on this, (on the art [techniques] and what you think the story is about and where it may Ben heading!) It reassures me that it’s actually being enjoyed instead of it simultaneously being looked at for a moment then just adding it to a favorite collection out of habit and nothing more.As you can see I’m a petty child who’s both paranoids and nervous whom likes the proof of attention. I’m sorry. why am i like this?

Okay My critique on this:
The boxes, showing their current emotion, Is amazing. It really brings everything together uvu!~
Art, Always amazing, Like no question about it XD.
I love the humor you put into this!~ “Johnny Ghost’s Status: Missing (Again). Definitely lightens the mood XD.
Emotions, Background, All that jazz really gives it suspenseful atmosphere, But I’m pretty sure that’s what ur aiming for so great job! I also Love the angles you placed into this!~
One thing I’d like to mention is the background. Yes it’s amazing, However, I’d like to see it in different opacities (I can elaborate if u want to try). It’s somewhat clashing with the character: Aka Toast. Also! Another technique I’d like to see tested is maybe add more gradient towards the sky? Creates a nice spook to it :>

Just realized there are no bubbles... I mean it's good but... bubbles.
The seventh panel seems a bit smudged?? it might just be a computer thing... or it could be intentional...
Interested to see where this is going but there isn't much to go off of...

And yeah the bubble highlights... rip those cuz I stopped doing them quite a while ago. They just weren’t working as well as they used too for me rip. And actually all of the panels are smudged. I use a smudging tool. I wouldn’t be surprised if it got smudged a bit when traveling with me unintentionally in my sketchbook I’ve been carrying it around in with other papers lol. Or I didn’t do the smudging very well when I did that one, there was a lot of thin spaces between trees that needed smudging to have shade in them for the night look, and it can be hard it do that in tight spaces. Especially with my limited patience XD rip
Tbh I felt prompted to start creating something that involved a pine forest in the night with Toast in it.. luckily I enjoy coming up with decent storylines on the spot for myself. This one shouldn’t be that long too luckily so.. yeah idk.

oooo what if Ghost came out to the forest to think, do you think he ever thinks about his co-dependency with Toast, maybe it bothers him, maybe he needs to work that out, maybe he just needs reassurance??? maybe ghost likes to stargaze, perhaps thinking about people who he used to know? I hope Toast finds him ok tho!!!

Yes feed back, I did say that thank you! XD (Sorry I’m kinda a brat about wanting it sadly.) And you’re not wrong about some of your reasons why Ghost would be in the Forest. (It’s kinda based off a role play but I’ll talk about that some other time.) I feel like Ghost is constantly struggling with his unstable mental AND emotional state.. and probably feels the need for space subconsciously, but he doesn’t really know what he’s doing/where he’s going and why. Which PROBABLY very troubling for Toast since he probably worries for him a lot.
