Nikon D200 with 80-400mm lens. The shutter speed was 250th (I used a couple of flashes so was limited to that). Thanks!

sweet yeah i found your(?) site explaining the flash thing .. iv played around with somthing simular on a cheep cam before with out realy realising .. can make moths looks great!
that sounds like a realy nice cam! the lense to! i better save my pennys up lol!

neat capture.. great photo imo.. .
i just can say that it would look even better if the hummer could be next to a colorful flower.. because i can see a lot green and brown tones, so i think a strong color would look nice..
but hey, i think is an awesome photo.. if i had a better than a pocket camera i would try to shot that kind of shots.

i actually for the first time in a long time saw a humming bird yesterday outside my window. they are quite beautiful creatures. great shot tehe ^_^

Nice capture of the bird. You just need to be closer. It's a tough thing to capture without a pretty long lens.

the humming bird was actualy drinking out of a cup of suger water a foot away from me, didnt care that i was taking pictures at all it only flew to defend it food source
