What a great rainbow of colour... the selective focus on the foreground flowers is wonderful, keeping it nice and sharp for about half of the image. I was looking at this with a square crop, so that the tree is cropped out and tulips are filling the frame, but I've found that the depth in the rows of flowers is what makes this special. Nicely done.

Thank you for your kind (and obviously knowledgeable) comments. I agree with most of your observations such as the unfortunate bald sky in the tulip field picture. As for the waterfall, I tried numerous ways to frame it and this was the best I came up with. I plan on going back when different lighting or growing conditions may offer more options.

I would also like to congratulate you on the pictures you have posted, your waterfall has made me quite green with envy.

I generally shoot Velvia or E100vs, but all of these pictures were taken digitally.
