Hiya. Yes these were sketched in Photoshop using Wacom Pen & Tablet. At home I use a Cintiq, which allows me to draw directly on the screen. But these are just tools, the method is the same no matter if I use Pencil, Paint or a computer.
If you are just starting out I'd def reccomend doing some reading up on the topic. This will answer some other beginner questions and give you a clearer idea in which direction you would like to go. There are tons of website and videos online but I still prefer to have the actual book in my hands
I've included a link to a great little book that pretty much has everything you need to get started. This will teach you all the basics about proportions, posing, anatomy, clothing etc etc. I also included some links to some Youtube vids. Do some searching and you will find a ton of excellent resources online for free. I you would more specific answers, just ask
