Description
My take on Widowmaker from Blizzard's new OVERWATCH.Was knee deep in a bunch of other work but then saw the promo trailer for the game and was inspired to do some fan art.
Mixed up some ideas from the concept art and cinematic and then added in a bunch of my own narrative elements.
Couple of things I may want to fix still... but gotta move on for now

ill ask here because i might get an answer can she shoot poison objects (darts needles arrow's so on) into her target or how dose she poison her target at close range with deadly venom?

Widowmaker adheres a swiftly-arming venom mine to nearly any surface. When a target wanders within range of the mine’s motion trigger, it explodes, delivering poison gas to any enemies in the vicinity.

Hiya. Quite a bit longer than most of my other pieces. More so because the work was spread out over an extended period of around 3 weeks.
probably around 30 hours... maybe even more... Did not need that much time but I remember making a ton of changes to the composition and details.

It was in no way a neg towards the art either, just check my gallery its 95% concept/pin-up. I thoroughly enjoy strong female leads that are highly competent, but the double standard of that is: Cheesecake sells (and its more fun to draw since Im a guy)
