according to the wiki Vegeta is 5 foot 3 whilst Goku is 5 foot 7/8
meaning they're given a little too much of a height difference on screen cos it looks like Goku is a foot taller than Vegeta in the episodes

Woah, only 5 ft 7/8? No way!I always thought Goku (and teen Gohan) would be somewhere over 6 feet (since Gohan kinda reaches Piccolo's shoulders by the time he's a teen) Meh, don't really care that much, tho.

Piccolo is a little over six feet
it's an easy mistake cos i used to think that Piccolo was around 7 foot tall or something
though in GT it shows off just how short Goku is when he goes SSJ4 against Super 17 who is roughly 8/9 feet tall

Good point. He is a different size throughout the series. In the end eps with teen Goten and Trunks he is practically a troll doll in the training scene.
