This is going to be a mixed media piece probably...and I was bored last weekend.

I am REALLY glad that thing isn't under my bed. Not to pleased with the concept of it being inside me either, but at least this way it can't catch me, fire up the grill, smother me in barbecue sauce, and chow down on pork chop a la me.

I don't think you're understanding the whole picture here.
What the quote is saying is that every single human being has some amount of darkness within their hearts and sometimes we can let it get the best of us to the point we can become something that we don't even understand truly anymore where it scares or startles us.... how we can become "monsters" that we imagined they were under our beds as little children when all this time they lurk within ourselves and our hearts.

But it's an awesome picture, and an awesome quote. You have this amazing talent of taking a phrase and creating a picture that captures it so completely that you could almost look at only the picture and know exactly the phrase you started with. I applaud you most heartily, dearest.
