Description my my...ain't he a distraction
Actually this whole picture was a distraction for me while I was in the middle of all these crazy exams
He kept me sane

I painted this bit by bit for about two months but it was heaps of fun to do XD
I'd say the hardest part of the whole process was thinking of what to paint on the shelf...it's blank emptyness..mocking me...o_0

Tell me if you can recognise any of the books ^_^

gorgeous piece! I recognize some of my favourite books on that shelf (Alex Rider, City of Glass). I love how realistic yet how fantastical the entire thing looks!

OMG!! I adore this picture. I recognize Kite Runner and City of Glass both good books. I love the shelf in this painting it makes it seem so real with the details and all. It looks like something any normal person would have in their room. Monopoly is one of my most favorite boardgames of all time and spying it in this painting just made me love it even more. And my, my isn't he a distraction-cough he is freaking hot-cough. This pic=LOVE.

haha I recognize a few of those books! Ark Angel, Scorpia, City of Glass I've read, + I've seen that Monster Blood Tattoo one around, but haven't read it (any good? ) haha & is that a Halo book I see? I've read on of those, but I don't know what it was called.
Oh & btw, noticed the Lostprophets sticker on the chair too, nice

I really love all the details, especially little things such as the denim texture on his jeans and how the titles on the books actually look gilded.

Amen to Alex Rider For some of the logos like monopoly and alexrider I had to use photos but for everything else, they're painted ^_^
