This is a emotion piece. I had a crappy day at work todayβ¦ scratch that I always have a crappy day at work lately!Under appreciated, overworked and constantly dealing with unhappy management despite my best efforts. Just like Knockout there, I find myself wondering why the hell I keep doing itβ¦
on the upside I finally got around to doing some practice painting!

Life is funny like that. What we really -WANT- must give way to what we are expected. Hoops and hoops to jump through.
But you and I have that reward at the end: Things we want to do, that we must do. Like me, I know you'll persevere to your goal. At the very least, I want to spite any outside forces that might just enjoy it if I fail.

Oh I feel you and KO all the way. 'cept with school and not work. I have such a strong pressure from so many people to succeed that it stresses me out and as soon as I screw up, the powers that be move on to the next person. this is why I'm so afraid of failure...

Its not so much their opinion as it is the toll their actions have taken on my body. Just like ko there. I was injured on the job and despite claiming workmans comp i was still forced to work as though nothing happened. Then when i finaly putmy foot down i lost my position and am being replaced now im expendable to them and that just hurts more then the physical pain. I think i like to go aomewhere or do something where mu efforts are more appreciated. And so thats why i drew knockout like this. Hes in contemplation wondering if he chose the right side here. I simply used him as an means to express this because for one i like the character but also because we relate in the sence we both work for hard to please bosses.
