My friends motivation for art was his dead best friend actually, and strangely proportioned birds too.
Also Tom Hanks is fun to draw, I drew a picture of Nick Cage because his big dumb looking doughy eyed meatslab face makes me chuckle...
(and the funny part is that all of this is true... except the weirdly proportioned bird thing, but still)
