Oh, she can trust Neko! Though Neko doesn't approve of TimeRiftette's bullying and antagonisms, she'd rather make her a friend than an enemy. And believe me when I say; Neko WILL be very persistent in pursuing a friendship with TimeRiftette!! TimeRiftette, and TimeRift, are not the only high-powered, super beings here!

Ok maybe not THAT much of a "super" being, but she does have an unnaturally high Magic stat, can use just about any magic there is (even Time! her home kingdom is well versed and educated in it). And from my canon material, because of her lineage from her mother and father she's really really strong!
I think she can give TimeRiftette a challenge in that tug-of-war! I know Neko could out-pull the entire Mushroom Kingdom, along with Peach; AND Daisy and Rosalina helping them.

It may not be Neko's thing, but that's just how things turned out for her. After all, didn't the same go for TimeRiftette? She was just a consciousness inside the super crown that fell onto TimeRift's head....

I guess that's true. And it was a little bit more like TimeRiftette was a consciousness that was CREATED when TimeRift put on the crown.

Yep, like I said, it just happened to her. Neko didn't ask for it, and to be honest here, her Overpowered-ness really only gets in the way.....I won't say why, but it is a bother to her. She is responsible too, so there's no chance for her curiosity or temptations to get the better of her!
Neko: (with a playful smile) Oh really? Well then, are you prepared for this!? *Neko is on top of TimeRiftette, before she could even process what happened. Neko has her pinned down to the ground and starts tickling her, refusing to let up*
Admit that I'm awesome and I'll relent my tickle torture and release you!
(Btw, she's completely prepared for any counterattack that TimeRiftette will try..... she's really smart too! And observant)

(A hammerspace is a trope, it's like an extra dimensional, super sized pocket that holds just about anything, dependant on someone's magic. I believe it started with someone with hammers, that's how it got its name. Like a Hammer Bro, with all its seemly endless hammers.)

Neko: *she's steadily overpowering the rock, pulling it backwards still without working up a sweat. The rock makes one last desperate hop to get away, using every ounce of strength it has. That only manages to delay Neko a tine bit....she soon resumes pulling*
*She then gives a mighty heave! Sending the rock flying over her head, and far into the distance behind her. She holds the rope in triumph (she somehow untied it from the rock as it was flying away.....)*

Neko: So. Wanna play with me, dear? *She holds up her rope for Daisy to see*
