"H.. H-Hey... Flint....." Flint stared at the large spiky gro, She stood at the entrance for what seemed like an eternity, The silence slowly slicing into flint's curiosity of who this gro was. The red gro slowly took a step farward making Flint 's head lower in fear, The gro slowly spoke "I-...Its me... E-ember..." His ears shot up in surprise as his head heightened up to meat her eyes. Thoughts sliced into his head , asking questions...limitless questions. Did she grow? What happened? Why is she so spiky? But most of all... What did she want? Thoughts...Dark thoughts burrowed deeper 'Is she here to make fun of me? Fight me? Kill me?. His eyes clouded over as he looked down in terror, trying to avoid eye contact. 'All of her spikes... She could easily jump at me and harm me... The gro's in the other room wouldn't have a chance to save me...'. Ember's claws slowly and painfully scraped the ground as she lifted a leg to try and take a step forward, Making Flint flinch and look up prepared for attack. He stared at her for an agonizing aeon as his claws started to shake and grip on to his arm in dread, She stared back seemingly stuck in her own thoughts. She steadied her posture by placing her arm back into the ground, making that dreaded scrapping again that stormed into his ears in the silence."F-...Flint i uh..." Her voice was wavy and cracked, He stared at her as anxiety clawed into him and his heart seemed to feel heavy as he waiting for the next sentience to come out of her mouth. It only mauled his throat deeper as the silence went on...
"I-" Her voice cracked as a small sliver of tears seemingly appeared in her eyes "Flint I- I'm so so sorry!" Flint hardly had any time to react as her next words came flowing out. " Im so sorry for everything! Everything i did was wrong! EVERYTHING! I shouldn't have freaked out at you, I dont even know why i hated you in the beginning! Im sorry for everything I've EVER done!" Flint was about to speak when ember cut him off again as she moved closer. " PLEASE Let me do something to repay you! I- I could... Uhm ... Well i dont know yet but please! Please forgive me for everything! I'll do something just please... " Flint was in utter shock as her words, Never a thought came across that she would apologize, Let alone beg for his forgiveness? Without hesitation he looked down to process this information, He didn't know what to say... Ember spoke again as Flint was shocked to see as tear falling from her face " Please! Do you forgive me? YO- YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO SPEAK! PLEASE... Please just a nod... please forgive me..."
Flint slowly nodded while staring at the ground...(483 Words)
