I've wanted to do a shot like this for a while. It was the daytime when I took this shot though, I like the outcome better at night so a longer exposure can be used for the light to break through more. I took an identical shot with my 35mm at night and I'm pleased with the results. I really need a negative/slide scanner. I'll have to try it again at night with my digital.-----

a very cool linear perspective...i love the way the lines from the rail tease the eye. the reflection of the door on the wooden floor is interesting because its distorted....damn that floor is shiny....
the door to the right has a very interesting visual effect. it makes me wonder whats behind the door. the door straight ahead almost looks magical with the light creaping out the edges....awesome photo!

hmmm yeah ..difficult, i love the lil bits of dust on the floor, and the gamma streak coming through the door ...i can imagine what effect you were going for ...close
