I like this. In the book they stayed in England. But I'm sure they could've crossed the channel if they wanted. Did you make the model yourself?

i think there the tripods from War of worlds that came out in 2005. they looked exactly like that.

There have been four movies based on it. three of them in one year. I myself have seen two.

Really? i knew about the older one and the 2005 one which i though was pretty sweet but everyone else said it sucked idk. i guess dakota fanning screaming the entire time really pissed peopel off.

Those are the ones I've seen. There were two others. One was a made for video movie with C Thomas Howell. The other one was set in the 19th century.

I think the one made from Howell was war of the worlds 2 and that looked like complete ass

oh well ill stick to the ones that look decent and not like a four year old did the CGI and i think the horns that the tripods make in the 2005 movie is one of the coolest noises in the entire world hahaha its my alarm clock noise has been for a million years.or well..since 2005 xD

Cool. But there's also a fifth movie. It's a mockumentary with interviews with the last living witness of the 1900 invasion and archive footage.

I really like this take on the War of the Worlds tripods. The glowing panels are especially nice.
