I haven't been working with someone since Starlight Glimmer ruined my life. It does feel good to be with someone.
I don't understand why everyone is against us though? It's not like we're gonna kill anyone, we just want to take over Equestria...

It would certainly have been interesting to see what would have happened if Twilight were unable to reliably use her own magic against the villains.

Story convenience, eh? How do you think it would have happened if Twilight and/or the Mane 6 got their powers absorbed?
I'm somewhat of the mindset that thanks to the fact that acts of love and affection can boost the effects of magic, they all could have done some kind of "magic of friendship" thing to overpower the villains, even if they could use the Mane 6's own powers against them. (i.e. Thanks to the Mane 6, possibly including others, showing them/themselves how much they love each other, they put out more power than what could be replicated by their own powers by the Bewitching Bell, meaning the villains look idiotic and lose in a similar manner.)
My one IRL brony friend and I also talked about how I can't help but imagine King Sombra having Dr. Facilier's voice, so I mentioned an alternate ending where Twilight somehow got the bell (with her powers in it) faster than Sombra could use her own powers against her and shattered it. Sombra's creditors from the other side dragged him to hell in the same fashion as that of "The Princess and the Frog"'s ending. (But if Twilight's powers are in the bell, do you think she could use them faster than Sombra could? It may make sense if he isn't accustomed to other ponies' magic.)

Hmmm... then the race would be on to find some other form of power that could surpass that of the elements of harmony, otherwise any conflict would end in Mutually Assured Destruction.
(And I think we both know what it is, but the villains didn't seem to have much of it and the Mane 6 seemed to have plenty of it.)

Ugh..... i have VERY strong opinions on how the Penultimate episodes of MLP went.....
especially since they disregarded by far the greatest villain the series has ever had.
