So sad about William Finley. He was my Idol growing up along with Paul Williams.

I didn't know much about Paul Williams (except that I loved Bugsy Malone as a kid and my dad used to sing me "Every Act of Kindness" as a lullaby). So I guess I was a fan without knowing it.
I never knew about William Finley till when I saw PotP two or three years ago, but he's absolutely awesome. I love him.

While I'm here, might I ask why you connected with the movie or why it connected with you? I'm gonna be doing some revising on my Retrospective and conducting an informal survey as to what it is about POTP that clicks with movie fans. THANKS!

Actually, I was thinking of making a story based around POTP. I actually designed a videogame version of that film, but getting it approved by the copyright owners isn't easy. I was a fan of POTP since I was five years old. Such a masterpiece!

It is! One of my favourite films of all time, ever since I was 5 years old. ^_^ I recently bought the mask he wears in the film from another guy on deviant art who makes them!
