Yes this was all colored pencils ^^ I jus used a black ink pen 0.5mm to do the lines hat you see on the first picture. To do the light I just used 2 types of red then I used a white color pencil for the light and a grey for the shadows. And it's he same on all the colors I hope I answered your question !

Woah, how many colors did actually use? And what techniques did you use for blending and the lighting?

I'm not sure of the exact number of colors I used. I think tat it was around 15 on total. For example i used a color just for the base of the face, then 2 or 3 others for the shadow effects, for the red I used 2 or 3 different types,... So the count goes high quickly ^^
For the shadow effect, I just used a white color pencil for the light and a grey for the shadows. The thing is hat you have to know the pressure you put on a specific spot, depending on the light. If the light hits the spot you draw, don't press too much on the pencil, just enough to have the color, then blend it with your white pencil. And if the spot is in the shadow, press enough to have a nice color then put grey above.
I used to have a pencil to blend to colors, but I stopped using it. It put somehing on the texture that i didn't like, it made it look fake, and it made it harder to change he collor if ou want to add or retire light. To have a nice color, you need to have a pencil well sharped and be patient, otherwise you will have white spots and the color won't feel the paper.
Last advice : when you color with pencils, don't hesitate to shape the color. When I did he armor, I did it part by part (as you see it on the progress) but on each part I put the red, the grey above, then red again, and grey again, then maybe a bit white if I find it too dark,...and tis until I liked the color. What I mean is that you might not have the right color on the first try so do not hesitate to put many layers. It will blend the color as well. But be carefull, don't press to much or you'll make a hole in your paper xD
