I don't think that Resasuke won't get another chance with Retsuko, after all he could not even tell her his own point of view.
There is a very deep meaning behind the scene which Retsuko tould her secrets to him, something which she would never let her co-workers know.

If you pay attention, Retsuko have a hard time speaking up her mind and Resasuke seems to be the same, that's why things went frustrating for both.

I noticed that Resasuke was not mad with Retsuko and it was nice to see.
Too bad there are a lot of fans jumping conclusions about Haida, after all Retsuko usually avoids getting too close.
