Regardless of whether or not a game has good graphics, as long as the gameplay is good, that's the only thing that matters to me. While I do think graphics are important, I don't think they are as important as the gameplay.Related content

Controls and gameplay matter to me the most. I hate sonic lost world because to spin dash you hold the trigger button. THERE ARE 4 BUTTONS RIGHT THERE ON THE GAMEPAD!!! LIKE THAT IS NOT ENOUGH!! and they programed it all over the controller, and the controls of lost world are like something you would do for a cheat code, not basic controls! Whoever at SEGA thought that making the controls so akward needs to be taught a lesson.

I hate how DoA fantards diss Tekken for "unattractive" females but for me combos and gameplay matter the most.
I play Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2. Combos on those games are awesome.

Legend of Legia. That was a really old game on the PlayStation. The graphics were meh for the PlayStation (Horrible by today's standards, but it still looked good), but the game was awesome... At least, I think it was.

I don't give a damn about graphics back then and I don't give a fuck about it now. That's why I always stick with Nintendo. They tend to get the gameplay down pat. All I care are the important aspects of a game such as storyline, gameplay, emotions, whether the characters are appealing or cute etc.Β

Spyro the Dragon, 1-3. While the 4th and 5th ones were still good, the older ones were better. And they had lower graphics quality.

My hierarchy of needs for a game to be considered good are, most needed to least: good story, intriguing characters, solid controls, a good amount of minimum hours (assuming no grinding or side-quests, or anything of that nature), and lastly looking good.

This reminds me of some Zelda fans that didn't like Wind Waker because of the graphics. I think graphics should kind of matter, but over all I focus more on game play and the story.

Guess that's why I mostly play racing games, they tend to have pretty high standards in everything (except story). An exceptional feature that has become a must-have for me for any videogame is an editable soundrack.

I hate call of duty and I love it when people say it has the greatest graphics ever, because CoD has ugly graphics.
I don't care how a game looks, just if it's any good.
