Oh, critique is partially welcome, if there anything you think I should add or take away, speak up. I want to put this in the Comic Con Art show, so I want to make it look good. Now, I'm not changing the girl herself, but if you think the background and effects need to be tweeked, give me suggestions.inked and colored in Flash CS3

Wow, I love the Picture! I've been looking at all the other drawings under alien princess, but this definitely is the best I have seen. She's so beautiful, I love her detail so much and the backround looks great. ^_^ I was wondering if I could use this as a reference picture for a game I play? I promise I will NOT claim as my own or sell

I think you should take more colors from the character herself and put them in the background - that way the picture would feel more unified. At least, this is what I think... I'm sleepy so maybe not. I love it though! Hooray!

The light source to the left side of her face detracts from her staff and messes with the quality of the piece, I think... perhaps if you moved that bright star to a lower portion of the viewport or dimmed and/or altered the color somewhat so that the light from her staff is the piece's focal point, it might help?

I like it, nice form, decent shading and lighting. I gotta say the look is nice, but unfortunately it doesn't come off as "alien" too much, she looks a bit "Mythic" really rather than extraterrestrial. different tone patterns in her skin would help this possibly. Maybe some pure black eyes also (get that grey thing going a bit
