"Belladonna" helping Ace fix his delicious hair.I don't play Fusion Fall, but if I did, it would be for these two.
... the whole "rock group" outfits and makeup are extremely stereotyped. (omg running mascara!!1one) But who cares, the GGG having a band really makes me curious as to what their music sounds like. I DEMAND AN ALBUM (a part of me wants to believe they sound similar to Oleander's song "Why I'm Here." pfffff listen to that violin. You totally know they'd make Grubber play that shit in their music.)
And no, I don't do backgrounds these days and I most certainly cannot draw hands. lol

If there was one thing that made me love FusionFall asides the fact that all the characters were older; was Belladonna and Ace. Love it! I also love how you captured them here.
I'm still kind of sill halfway on the running mascara though.
Part of me says that it suits her as a rocker chick. The other half of me says "Wasn't Buttercup too tomboyish for mascara?" lol Still love it though.

I played this for a while (up until they made me pay and then I moved to the friggin mountains XP ) and I have to say, These two looked really good in the game together. When I first came across them I was like "Who's your boyfriend?" then I went off searching for him for a quest and I was like "WHAT?!" Needless to say I was confused but then in noticed they were cute together in the game. I'd sugest you play Fusion Fall. It's currently free and has a lot of characters in it.

Ahh, yes, I've heard abotu Fusionfall, and played the early demos. In all honesty, I gotta give props to Cartoon Network for doing something this gutsy with their characters...including the artistic update to teenage forms for the likes of Dexter and the Powerpuff Girls! Was it a smooth transition? As with any fan, Your Mileage May Vary (yes, I just invoked a TV Tropes statement)...but for my money, they pulled it off pretty well.
One big example would be the new relationship between Buttercup and Ace--considering that he is (or used to be, in the Fusionfall universe) the leader of a gang of punks, the prospect of him developing enough of a conscience to take an amnesiac Buttercup in and take care of her suggests quite a bit of mellowing out. Granted, I'm sure he's the kind of rock star (I seem to recall that's what he became in FusionFall) who's bound to make the tabloids for various forms of mischief...but still, it sounds like he's had a bit of character development.
Anyways, I like what you did with these two. From your accurate re-capturing of Buttercup's Gothic alter-ego (Belladonna, wasn't it?) to the way you smoothed out Ace's face and turned him into a sort of pretty-boy in a punk way, I like your art style. And then there's the way you bridged the gap between their heights somewhat--it gives the notion that the age gap isn't as big as the TV show suggested.
All in all? I'm faving this, and I wanted you to know why.
