Peoples that draw just FanArt for attention, well... they are not really true artists (even if their art skills are the best that someone could see ~.~). A true artist draws for fun, what is flowing in his soul, and likes to express himself.
Well, me, you, and other artists just stay "in the corners", watching other people that receive a lot of comments about the FanArt, and just makes other people (who draws mostly original stuff) eating shit.
Ok this conversation has a lot to be said... and well, just like this, there are many people in here that just get out of DA, 'cuz of the Fanart =_

See, Latte, don't take me wrong... but you have to understand that fanart will always be more popular.. I mean, it's FAN-art! Meh, sorry for ignoring your original stuff anyways.
I am, soon, someday, sometime, maybe, gonna start submitting my original stuff... when I feel like it - and I understand that I am gonna receive very few comments... but we are supposed to be here for the art! not for the attention, don't we? Yeah, the stuff I draw is mainly for fun anyways.
By the way, I love Delibird! cute, chubby and cheerful - I would have one in my team with the nickname of Santa's Helper, if they weren't sorta useless for battle. Very nice work!

That's what happens when you draw a lot of fanart. You attract watchers who like fanart and usually not much else.
