The face expressions are very clear, quite easy to understand. I love the idea of the girl looking for confidence in the owl protecting her. Also, the proportions are quite good, in imaginary size the girl is a bit smaller than the owl, right? Maybe the background could be more clear, and the lineart just a tiny bit less messy. Also, the shading is done well, making the main object stand out. I can see you added a lot of detail and attention to this picture. And maybe just a little more detail in the background. I think the art you've done here is amazing. The owl has a very protective posture and expression, which I assume is what you were aiming for, and you did it well. The girl looks a little curious but nervous to me, I am unsure if that was what you intended or if you were aiming for her to express fear. Either way, the face was done well. The only thing I find annoying to me is that it is hard to tell what the background is. That may be irrelevant, but since you do have some of it, it would be better to detail it a little more. Otherwise, great work!
