not sure that #2 is a fact. and Russia invaded Georgia. Iraq did not invade or attack us. just saying.

and i'm not saying that #2 isn't a possibility, but it's not a guarantee just because the govt. says. hell, they say you'll melt into a couch if you smoke marijuana (just kidding, but that commercial was ridiculous).

The nature of the 'occupations' and the battles are of massive difference between each one:
1. Iraq and Georgia both are occupied by foreign soldiers, but these '
2. The combat scenarios are different. Russia is in isn't and won't be threatened by Georgia any longer, and thus there are no grounds for occupation. In Iraq and Afghanistan, the situation is very delicate, as the threat to the States in almost gone, it is very like to progress to a very dangerous situation if not treated. The combat between Israel and Palestine has not shown any signs of waning, and what few agreements have been made neither side has honoured, thus indefinite government interferences is required.
Your words do no good. If you want to end a fight you don't take action against the fighters but against the fight.
