I actually think this is a really sweet sentiment. I don't believe in getting married myself, and don't think that it's necessary for a committed relationship, but it is a sign of one and should be respected.

I like this becasue I feel like yes it can mean marriage (that's why I faved it) but I like that it also means exactly what it says. So many people think that if you are dating someone it just means you are single with a girlfriend or boyfriend. But it should be more than that. Otherwise whats the point of the title of boyfriend or girlfriend?
