My favorite movie, The Brave Little Toaster, has interesting minor characters in it (such as the waffle iron, the shadeless lamp, the two-headed vaccum cleaner, the fan, the coffee pot thing, the air conditioner, the computer, and of course, the broken cars), but the major characters are kind of boring. Which is why I only drew the main characters twice.
In Sailor Moon, some of the classmates (Melvin and Molly, specifically) are pretty interesting characters, although I do think that the main characters are kind of interesting. I always thought that they needed more screen time, too.

Yeah, I agree. And since the merchandise has them plastered on it, the main characters tend to wear out especially quickly for a popular work.
