Original sold, private collection, Australia.
This piece is an Exquisite Corpse drawn by Fabián Jiménez and myself. Fabián drew the first half (bottom) and covered it except for one inch in the middle... then mailed it from Mexico City, Mexico to Portland, Oregon for me to finish. I worked off of the exposed inch of work to create my half (top) of this collaboration. I am extremely pleased with the result! This is my first Exquisite Corpse with hopefully more collaborations yet to come.

It seems to me that you are expressing a very linear, fearful perception. This is your highly subjective assertion of beliefs based on crudely pieced together mental associations. Life is old, many things have come and gone, and all is possible in the spectrum of possibility that we exist in. I am not interested in expressing arcane references to the grossly misunderstood, only partially intact, poorly studied, vast allegorical text that is the un-canonized dead sea scrolls. To take ill-comprehended metaphor as truth and absolute power is a dangerous game to hold oneself to. Have you read the books of Enoch and Jubilees? What language did you read them in? Who was the scholar who translated the text? How has this come be the whole of the message you choose to communicate? No, this is not what interests me, and is not what I convey in my work. I am interested in the elemental substance of human expression from the first scratches in mud and rock, to the modern myriad of re-envisioning we see created en masse now. I am interested in the human experience; what guides us inherently after guise, unfounded speculation, and the dense, opaque skin of singularly deluding religious theosophical ascription have been peeled back. This is a rendering of organic patterns and the unique bounty of earth, cycles, and nature. An exploration of structure and perception. Pollination, blossoming, harvest, decay, and regeneration. No trap of "hive mind deception" and fallen angels here, except in your mind's eye.
