I mostly use very inexpensive and available art supplies because I don't have a large budget and pick everything up on bicycle. I use those little 2-corned pointy eraser pencil caps that come in bright colors and pack of 20 or so. I throw them away immediately after they become slightly dull and and smudged with graphite. It can sometimes be very difficult to undo the harm caused by one dirty eraser smudge.

I was creating this piece for 3 years, but only working on it sporadically. It was probably 3 months of solid work. A graphite piece this large takes a lot of time and effort, at least for me.
