Description I think I'll be selling this as a print at Otakon! Along with my Avatar dance picture and Earthbound Star Wars! And a million buttons and charms and comics. Yessss.

MIDNA. I loved this character from the moment I saw her in the first trailers for Twilight Princess. And her true form...so pretty! This is a really simplified version of her, but I like the way it turned out. This was also the first time I really tried out the pen tool in photoshop. So this was sketched on paper, and "inked" digitally with a combination of the brush, pen tool, and the circular selection tool, which is amazingly useful for more than selecting circles.

I've never played the game, but I really like this image! The style, color, comp, etc are all working really well together. It feels a little "art nouveau," too. Very nice work!

It's not very hard, once you know how. I'd be glad to show you sometime! (It does require some patience and problem solving, but the lines turn out so smooth!)

Thank you! I spent a lot of time thinking about how to frame her, and in the end decided on something simple. I guess it worked out!
