In August, less than half a year ago, I gave a poll out to any who wished to participate. I informed people that I came up with an idea for a doujinshi and wanted to know if anyone would like to see the progress. I got very mixed feedback, mostly from people who either said 1) Yes, they wanted to see every step of the way and 2) Only post after the initial sketches and/or line art are complete. So, I settled with a compromise.

My new goal is of course to work on my doujinshi, so I've decided to do one frame of it every 2 to 3 nights. There are about 15 pages, and many many frames, though some are easier than others to do, and some are a heck of a lot harder. I've decided to post the "heck of a lot harder" sketches so you can see what I've been doing instead of doing my reading and/or homework (Bad Laura!).

This is Frame 2 of my fist page. Last night, I did Frame 1, but I'll leave that one as a surprise for you guys.

No, it's not in Japanese, but I thought that translating it to Japanese (with the help of my friend from Tokyo) would look kickass for a temporary fill-in.

What I intend to do is print this out onto regular printer paper and with my NEW LIGHTBOX (as of today), trace all my frames onto one main manga page, ink it, and tone it on computer (though I may attempt one toning IRL, because I have ALL the materials for it, including many many different toning papers I bought back in the day).

This entire thing is just for the fun of it.

In any case, I'm aware there are a few errors here and there in the sketch. This is by no means my final draft. I will have my way with it once I print it and ink it. I have a very good start though... However, it did take me a HELL of a long time 0.0 I normally have a rule: "No more than 2 characters to a page, but THREE MAXXXX", and this one... this one was FOUR!!!!! FOUR!!!! Thank god I didn't have to draw legs too 0.0

And as a final note... I have no idea what I'm going to title this doujinshi. It really is up in the air right now. The story is about Goten's 'first time' and how he gets his first cell phone. And no, it's not a hentai!
