My gosh it's been a while since I've updated. I actually have tons of school stuff I haven't submitted here... but I figure I may as well start with this model from my fig. drawing class today. We dinally were able to work in any medium of our choosing, so I worked with markers and technical pens.I had to take this pic with my camera, and the lighting is all whacked. I guarantee there's no purple in this piece.

It's difficult to describe what I like about this, but suffice it to say I do. I love the color choice and I really like the pose. Also, the bed looks a little tipsy, which I also like. lol Very nice.

pretty good, pity the camera probably didn't do it justice...
ya know...i think the purple actually works in harmony with the positioning of the figure. head down on pillows suggests disappointment and all those negative emotions...so i guess the purple is not so bad afterall (or maybe it's just me, hehe)
