there shouldn't be anymore errors. what page are you trying to get to and what does the error look like?
maybe clear your cache?

not at all. clearing your cache just removes the internet's temporary holding places for websites. you won't lose any links or bookmarks~

Aah, the reason that happens is because my username has an illegal character in it; the dash.
I need to change my username slightly, but that will have to wait until i can pay for a premium account.

However there are workarounds for this.
ubuntuforums.org/archive/index… scroll down to the bottom and see if any of those workaround options work for you.

This isn't the first time someone hasn't been able to get to my site because of the dash.

well, it has to relate to my user name, not that user.
so replace the -kol user with mine laur-.deviantart.com

And no, this won't damage your computer. if it ends up not fixing the issue, you can always delete the line you added in the file.
