Description
This is one of the first in my collage experimentations of the summer. This is about change and risks and leaving and the unknown and pressing on. Basically, each of the three "windows" represents a different place in my life. The right is Chicago and my friends, the middle is me in between, in the luxury and lonliness of home, leaving chicago and what i have come to known and love, and then going towards my journey to Ecuador next year (the left), a place foreign and new, yet exciting. I guess my choice is backwards according to the normal person standards, hence the right to left direction. The stamps and cars represent the transition between the places. The dominoes create a city skyline. Tell me what you think.Related content

Great piece. I love the story behind the work. You have a lot going on there but it works nicely. The dominos as a skyline are a nice touch and I also like the school children up in the corner separate from the central figure in the middle. Very nice!

this is absolutely genius. i love what you've done with space and depth, with concepts. this is really well thought out and it shows. plus your attention to detail in this piece is impressive. there's so much to look at, which illustrates the movement, and my only complaint is that the photograph isn't enough of a close-up to really get a feel for how detailed the piece really is.

Real nice piece. Like the details of the composition, especially those buttons with the cars & the use of dominos for the cityscape, it gave a good effect
