For drawings the eyes, first I look at the base I'm using and try not to draw it just like the base. I search for eye styles and mix them to draw something new! ^^

Also thank you for sharing how you make your characters eyes, I think I'll give that method a try too if that's okay with you!? What paint tool do you use? I just recently started using paint tool sai. I really like so far and I love how it allows you to create different layers. However if your using something different I may want to check it out

Sure, no problem! I use the pencil tool for sketching, and the linework (curve tool) to do the lineart!
