then you are technically native american.. 1/4 to be precise.. and if you were to have a child with a non-native they would be 1/8.. What tribe was your Grandfather from?
I am 1/2 Ojibwae from N. Dak., a well developed artist.. but i wish i had your beautiful angle for protraits of people.. I am still working on drawing people though I am not as good as you, yet... jk lol...

He looks great! You've spent a good amount of time working on all the details of the eagle and the Indian. I personally would like to see some darker blacks but I also realize it may be because of the scan. The hair is great and the feathers outstanding. Wonderful job!

Why Thank You, I appreciate it.Some is the scanner, just replaced the old thing. Yet cant blame it all on it, that would be too easy

I know what you mean, My granddad was full blood Cherokee, but wasnt til he passed away that I find out family history, of how his grandmother was on the trail of tears..ect. He would never talk about it or admit to it sadly, it was the times when he was young, there was alot of prejudice against Indians then

That is exactly why I don't know much about our family history
Its so hard to get the older generations to understand that we don't have the same prejudices that they were raised with
All we know is that my Great Great Grandmother walked the Trail of Tears with three children, only two survived and they settled in the Oklahoma Reserve
My Great Great Grandmother refused to keep her registry, so its even hard to track anything down that way
I was raised to have pride in where I came from and how it makes up a part of who I am
Its the same about my Irish blood lines too
