I like this; I'm sure I've imagined something similar at some point. Korra is powerful and can take care of yourself, but with random explosions all around she wouldn't complain if someone--especially Mako--tried to protect her.

kind of reminds me of the original series where Zuko protected Katara from a boulder landing on her when they were in the Air Realm. nice sketch, though
