incomplete beings just trying to belong.

When I got cancer in my left forearm, it was 2001. I had been painting bald people with missing forearms for about six years before that. I wasn't sure why I did it at the time, I do know I was very affected by my grandmother's cancer experience and subsequent death, but it was more than that. It was a 'seeing' that I didn't see. This is one of those.
