Description
Thought of this composition and I wanted to try and see it through.I was actually going for a more 'fun' feel (and why shouldn't I? I've been listening to episodes of Cabin Pressure all day---HILARITY!) but somehow ended up with a more subdued palette.
Next time, there'll be bubbles. And possibly koi fish.
And I know the perspective is off. I'm cheating.

Well the color palette is rather subdued but I think it works overall. The things I do love is the attention to detail on the room despite it being just him and a tub and it's pipings; like the tiles, wood work and even wallpaper decor(?). Then there's the shadow and light play at work like in the water puddles and then on the clothes in and under the water. I can see a little bit of a value difference there but I think it would have worked better if1) the value was more different/ light refraction was at work (how I do not know I haven't attempted water pics so kudos for you doing so XD;; )
Anyway, super happy seeing you tackle more and more interesting comps and enjoy seeing them, though it takes me forever to comment.

Hmmm... very interesting.... You did a really great job on the cloths in the water and the angle as well. adding puddles on the floor was a nice touch too ^^*

I've been wanting to do a picture like this for awhile...random bishounen fully clothed in a bathtub. (I was inspired by the 1st GTO opening)
You pulled it off so well! Great angle and coloring.
