Description
So annoyed at this movie! At least I got some awesome kickass scenes w/ Wonder Woman and Barda. And ok, the last few minutes of Kara and Clark going all out on Darkseid weren't THAT bad.
EDIT: Apologies for the sexist language used here. This was doodled a long time ago.

superman's more relatable than batman. Batman's a rich guy with money cars and a company. superman has to work to control his emotions and struggles with the fact that he can't ever fully be part of humanity or earth

Did you mean Batman and Wonder Woman? I need to check out the Justice League series because I hear they had some nice banter going on.

Agreed; great action scenes, but Superman and Supergirl became quite... irritating

The movie is called "Superman Batman Apocalypse"? Never seen it. But I'm rather fond of Bats/WW. Saw an episode where a huge ass piece of building rubble fell on her and he goes running, trying to dig her out with his bare hands. But of course, she's just fine.

I was annoyed at this movie as well. I own the original comic mostly because I love Supergirl for the fact that we both have the same given name. Anyway what really upset me about the movie was that they didn't keep the Superman/Batmanness of it since it was serialized in Superman/Batman it was all about them trying to figure her out, and two they totally changed the fight in the end!!! Darksied was supposed to omega beams Kara's ass and Superman was supposed to go batshit insane. And then in the end its all LOL WE TOTALLY SET THAT UP AND TELEPORTED YOU TO AMAZON ISLAND. 8D

Oh wow, I had no idea. That would have definitely made for a more interesting scene.

Totally! I wish they would have got the original writer of the comic to write the script like they did with "Under the Hood". LOL, but I bet Jeph Loeb is too busy being awesome to do that.

what's bad about superman? in the animated series and justice league he was a pretty well rounded and human character, had more weaknesses, and was in general a genuinely nice guy

I liked it but it should not have been titled with Batman and Superman as the leads because they were not.
Your cartoon is cute, but Bruce should relent and take Diana out.

I liked it apart from the ending - and if you're a BMWW shipper then you should check out batmanwonderwoman.com; you'd deffo find supporters lol. This is brilliant by the way - the captions are funny as hell and the drawing is perfect for what you've done

I agree with most of this. I enjoyed the animation and the story was fun to watch if nothing else but Kara has ALWAYS annoyed me and this was just an addative. I mean seriously? Who wears a mini skirt when they're fighting crime!? And then they made her the stereotypical airhead-teenage girl who only thinks about shopping and boys >.< No, let's just ignore the fact that her family is head and she time skipped serveral years of maturity. totally NOT important >.>
But the WWxBM scenes made me oh so happy! and the Barda WW fight scene was epic beyond proportions!
Great job with the comic It's a great parady!

I could understand why MAYBE they went that route? It gave Clark some humanizing moments with his newly arrived cousin but the tone of the movie just didn't support that kind of interaction.
What I would have appreciated is yes, some emotional trauma with the death of her family and homeworld and maybe then it'd be acceptable for Clark to try and cheer her up with some fun things. He shouldn't have be catching up to her as she shops in all of Metropolis' overpriced shops. XD

I understand that they can only put so much into one movie (it's the hitch with trying to tell any story in a movie) but I think they could have had just as many humanizing moments for Superman if they had emphasized Kara's youth and how alone she was in the world. She did not have the loving support that Clark had growing up, heck she really didn't even have a childhood thanks to her planet blowing up and all.
If they had some of this, then, yes, the "cheer up" scene would have been cute and a good way to humanize both of them.
