Basecolour work for Sphinx in her Neo Swat Kats uniform, I'll scrap this once I finish her full model sheet. But lookie! pretty base colour art for you guys! heh. @.@;;So, pretty much, a character I'm hoping to play in the Neo Swat Kats Art/RPG community thing.
Sphinx had a nasty run in with Dr. Viper (a deraged bio-chemist of the Swat Kat Universe) and ended up becoming as she calls herself 'a freak of nature'.
Due to her newly acquired appearance, she wears a lot of large jackets out in public (even on hot summer days) , sports gloves, and boots. She's extremely sensitive about her appearance, and doesn't like it when other cats get too close to her.
She's not an angel, or a demon, and kinda gets insulted when she's referred to as either. (Again, poor girl just wants to be 'normal'). She's joined the NSK to get revenge on Viper, stop this from happening to any other victims like herself, and hopefully someday find a cure.
...if her condition doesn't get worse.
PS. Why do I give characters wings? They're such a pain to draw. @.@;;
And.. She's not a gargoyle..I just gave her gargoyle like feet.

It says sphinx but i'll confess i think more griffon. A great character, can't wait to rp with her.
Your style shows a great deal of practice to get such smooth lines. How do you draw?

Never seen a 'griffin' character without a beak or a cat head. 
Umm how do I draw? Well, I mostly thumbnail and randomly sketch the character I'm drawing a bunch of times to get a feel for her. I use line of action, circles, and all that jazz, then go back over and completely clean up what I've drawn.

For a second I thought it said "Spandex" xDD
but this is really awesome! :3 I like the colors and wings and the gargoyle feet!
