Here's a tribute to one of my boys. What, you don't recognize him? It's Dominic Monaghan! Charlie from Lost! Merry from Lord of the Rings! Not much else. Originally a Christmas present for my friend, I made a copy for myself. I was still in my Sharpie stage at the time.Related content

This is awesome! it looks like you've really got a handle on this style. very well done! really doesnt have alot of room for improvement, but note how real the hand in front of the hat looks because you used the back ground to shape the hand instead of lines. same with the face, jawline, nose, buttons, & wrists. that looks great. maybe if you used horizontal lines or grey marker for a background you could show the shape of the forarms, ears & neck without using lines. that may take from the simplicity (which is cool), but it would make it more consistent & real. or you could make the line of the arm more of a shadow shape for the same effect.
