Thanks Linley,
he was admitted to hospital last night for an emergency blood transfusion.
Unfortunately I cant see the whole thing ending well, too many thing going wrong one after another. Gangrene, Pnemonia & a bleeding ulcer to name a few.
Thank you for your kind wishes & support

We don't know at this stage. The bleeding ulcer is the major concern at this stage. They are doing a gastroscopy & a colonoscopy tomorrow to try and find where the bleeding is coming from.
He has had 3 blood transfusions in the last few days and looks so much better, so we are hopeful that things are starting to go right

Yes, they are slowly working through all the problems and seem to be getting them resolved one by one. He had a gastroscopy today to try and find the internal bleeding, but found nothing. Next step is a colonoscopy, which shall be done next Friday.
Thanks for asking, I really appreciate that a lot

Dad had his colonoscopy today and apart from a polyp (which they removed) they found nothing abnormal. I mean that's great but it makes me wonder where the huge blood loss he had came from???? Maybe we'll never know??
Yeah, my lovely wife is Doris, we've been married 24 years (quite young at the time)
There might be a few pics at [link]
No Doris doesn't use DA

Unfortunately still more treatments to go with dad. He has to get a toe amputated due to gangrene soon.
It's a great feeling knowing you've found your soulmate. Doris & I are best friends, lovers & soulmates. She had a tough time yesterday, we travelled to Victoria to visit her father who is in a nursing home with advanced dementia, and he didn't recognise Doris. That was very hard for her
I'm glad to hear you & Steve are so happy

I think I'd be the same as your uncle. It would be a hard life without legs.
Yeah, it's great. It makes it a lot more bearable when other things go wrong in your life knowing that special someone is always right there beside you.
