Like Zenkaiger, each Ranger represents of common theme of Super Sentai/Power Rangers. Originally they would have different armors, you could see the Samurai influence in the Blue Ranger.

Red Lion Ranger - Like Gaon, he is based on a lion, representing animals/beasts.
Blue Dragon Ranger - Like Magine, he is based on a dragon, representing dragons and magic.
Green Raptor Ranger - Like Zyuran, he is based on a dinosaur but a Raptor instead of Tyrannosaurus.
Yellow Car Ranger - Like Vroon, she is based on machines and vehicles, but based on a car.
Pink Ninja Ranger - She is based on ninjas.
