I wanted to do a slick design without armor and be based on athletic clothes. Their helmets are based on different types of helmets like construction, hockey, baseball, fire fighter, motorcycle and aquatic rescue. The poses are based on Boom Comics poses.

Mint Green Ranger - Aquatic Rescue helmet
Black Ranger - Motorcycle
Blue Ranger - Hockey helmet
Hazard Ranger - Construction worker helmet, his uniform is based on Beastie Boys in "Intergalactic" music video. It is a color combo I wanted to do for years.
